HOME PAGE

This website contains many sections. Below you will find a brief explanation of each of the main sections so that you can decide which page listed above on the navigation bar you wish to go to. This takes you to the first page in that section where you will find other page links related to that subject.  I first started my website around 2013 so some of the information may appear out of date but is still relevant to that time. So although this site has been completely up dated (August 2019) some of the information dates back to events several years ago. As you probably know, memories are not always reliable but I have done my best to be accurate.

NOEL F BENNETT
An introduction. Who I am and a little about my wonderful life and family. When I say wonderful, that is my perception. Like others I do have my off days but I always try to be positive. When I ask someone "How are you?" and they answer "Not too Bad" I do cringe a bit. It means they are bad but not too bad. How awful that they should feel bad most or all of the time. When I am asked the same question I always try to answer "Wonderful!" On the odd occasion when I do not feel quite so good, saying I feel wonderful really does help.

In this section of my website you will, if you wish, learn more about me, my dearest late wife June and my family including my dog Coco.

LEON FRANKLIN: Author

I have written a novel that I would like to have published. I wrote it a few years ago and it was rejected by a publisher. At that point I was not too disappointed because I had done my research and knew how difficult it was to get anything published. Even famous writers have had their work turned down many times before achieving success. In this section of the website you will find out what happened next. You will also learn a little about the novel, some of my other work and what my future plans are.

NOEL F BENNETT: Film Maker

In about 2016 I purchased a digital movie camera and started my new hobby of film making. In this section of the website you will find out my progress so far. You will also be able to view the films I have been involved in. In some I actually played an acting part but in most I was the camera man, editor, script writer or director. Some times I did it all but that is what happens in amateur filming. I do hope you enjoy the show.

BENNETT FAMILY TREE: Results so far

The title of this section of the website is self explanatory. I have done quite a lot of research but there is so much more to do. It originally had its own dedicated website but as my relatives were not willing to help with the cost of research (except for my daughter) I could not do the amount of research I wanted to do or warrant the cost of the website. So I will continue to do what I can, when I can. Hope you enjoy looking at the results. If you are a 'Bennett' and you have any help to offer or comments to make please do get in touch.

FRIENDS OF ST. CLARE'S: Brief outline and link

The name is mostly self-explanatory if you are familiar with 'Friends of' organisations. It relates to a church in Newton Aycliffe, Co. Durham. I am starting this organisation to support the church in the short, medium and long term. Other churches in the Great Aycliffe Parish were invited to be part of the project but declined. It is an organisation, independent of the church but whose sole objective is to support it. This section gives a brief outline of its objectives and a link to its website. LATEST NEWS...

I have enjoyed reading your webpages and I have a suggestion, perhaps people could contribute their own short stories or poems for you to put on here.

REPLY
Thank you for your suggestion Maria-Louise. If any are submitted I will certainly consider them for publication on my site.
